Mangosurveys (hereafter โthe Siteโ or โweโ) takes privacy seriously. We collect personal data fairly and transparently in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, 2016/679). This policy describes what data we collect, why, how long we keep it and how your rights are protected.
When you register: email address, password (stored only as a salted hash), country and language. Optionally a referral code.
In your profile (optional): first and last name, address and postcode, age, gender, household situation, employment status and household income bracket, used to match you with surveys; payout method and PayPal email for payments. Address and PayPal email are stored encrypted.
We never ask for special categories of data (ethnic origin, political opinions, beliefs, union membership, genetic or biometric data, health, sexual orientation). If a third-party survey asks such questions, answering is voluntary and the answers stay with the survey provider.
Usage data: login times, surveys started, completed and screened out with their identifiers, rewards, payout requests, experience points, levels, achievements, login streaks, referrals and support messages.
Technical data: IP address, browser, device, operating system, language, referring site and campaign parameters (UTM) to measure our marketing. The IP address is also used to prevent abuse.
Survey answers go directly to the survey provider. We only see that a survey was completed and the reward, never the content.
The controller is the website Mangosurveys (mangosurveys.com). For anything concerning your personal data, use the contact form or the Support page of your panel when logged in, which verifies your identity automatically. In partner tasks you move to the partnerโs site, where the partner is the controller.
Data may be disclosed where required by law or authorities. We never sell your data.
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored as hashes, address and PayPal email are encrypted, database access is restricted, account actions are logged and survey-provider credits are verified with a signature. In case of a data breach we notify the authority and, where required, you.
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to data portability, to restrict processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interest and to direct marketing, and to withdraw consent. Levels and achievements are computed automatically, but payouts and account closures are always reviewed by a person.
Send requests from the Support page of your panel or via the contact form. We respond within one month. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Finland: tietosuoja.fi).
Data is stored in the EU. Partners may process data outside the EU under Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy arrangement recognised by the Commission (e.g. the EUโUS Data Privacy Framework).
